FAQ (guitar lessons)

- How much time do I need to be able to play?

That is impossible to say. It all depends on what you want to learn, on how much you practice, on your own physical possibilities and so on. It is also helpful to ask questions if there is something you do not understand.

- How much do I need to practice?

When practicing, dedication and consistency are the keys.
Your fingers need to get used to the movements that they need to do. That means that practicing 10 minutes a day is much more effective than 2 hours once a week.

- Which styles do you teach?

We teach every style of modern music including Jazz, Blues, Funk, Folk, Rock n' Roll, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal,.....
We generally try to cover the basics of the greater genres like Rock, Blues and Funk to give you a solid foundation that you can build on.
Soloing is also a vital part of the lessons as it helps you  express yourself through your instrument and gives you a more complete understanding of how the guitar works.

- How are the lessons structured?

We build the lessons around the goals of the student. If you want to play a specific style, we focus on playing songs to give you an impression of that style. If you want to learn music theory, we can do that as well.
If you have never played before, we normally focus on playing sons and improvising.

We basically cover your goals.

- Do I need to know theory?

No you don't.
